Boris Johnson has left Theresa May’s Remainer deal intact on defence matters. It would keep us in the EU through three commitments: the European Defence Agency, the European Defence Fund and the Permanent Structured Cooperation. All bind us into the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy.
